Code of the Road - February 2

I don’t know what year it was. Our kids were young...still Corinth Dragons. As usual, Melissa had a huge role in our annual gift gathering/school fundraiser. The Freyders had offered their Key West house for a girls’ weekend. Of course, everyone wanted it! 

We were two of the lucky winners. After a long day of traveling, we pulled in and were greeted by Melissa walking down Michelle’s front steps with a huge tray of margaritas. We were so excited!  Melissa missed the last step. The tray, margaritas and Melissa went down. She stood up with a huge smile on her face.

It was the perfect start to a crazy, fun, wild weekend. “Code of the road!” 

Just another example of Melissa making plans to make sure her friends had a great time while also raising money for something she believed in. We love you and miss your generous heart, your kind spirit and your loving soul!
