ALLIE'S HAVEN ANIMAL RESCUE

Allie’s Haven Animal Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all volunteer organization that is dedicated to saving unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected dogs in Texas. Volunteers provide all necessary medical care to each dog as needed. Rescued dogs will live in private foster homes until adopted into a loving home where they will become a member of the family. Allie’s Haven Animal Rescue promotes proper pet ownership, community educational programs as well as supporting spaying/neutering as a means to control unwanted pets.
WHY THIS CHARITY?
At Melissa's funeral, in lieu of flowers, we asked her friends to donate to a local Kansas City organization that helped save unwanted dogs and care for them while they awaited their forever homes. The outpouring of support was tremendous. About a year ago, I adopted my sweet Penny from Allie’s Haven, a local organization with a similar mission.  I can’t think of anything my mom would love more than to see Allie's Haven benefit from this competition.
